How to confuse your customers

The National Australia Bank, who have decided to follow KFC’s lead in turning themselves into an acronym (yes I know KFC is only an abbreviation), have also decided that confusing their internet banking customers is also a good idea.

  • Actually, I think 'KFC' is neither an acronym nor an abbreviation. I think it's a vain attempt at trying to fool the masses into think that the muck they sell is slightly MORE healthy than deep-fried chicken coated in batter. Tastes good all the same...
  • Yup, basically it was an attempt to remove the word 'fried' from their marketing content, and thus from the public's awareness.

    By and large this has, surprisingly enough, worked.
