I now understand the truth about your walk since Hillsongs and the re-writing of some of your earlier songs makes so much sense. I was in ministry about 12 years ago and have been on a journey which now is leading to the same conclusion, namely that my faith rests on his grace and mercy and in the end falling on my knees before Jesus gives me the best perspective on my place in the kingdom. Because we will never be the same again, we keep growing in our closeness to our Lord. The closer we are to Him, the more He reveals to us. Geoff rewriting the songs God has given expresses the deeper aspects of the revelation given when the song was birthed. A lot of songwriters would not give way to this leading of the Holy Spirit, to go back and refine the words expressed in the past, so that people may know that God brings brighter light to a soul that earnestly and humbly serves Him, desiring only to draw closer to Him. Bless you Geoff in the Holy name of of Jesus.

Re: Geoff Bullock rewriting his songs

Thanks heaps for posting this rewrite.
